HISTORY

                             

                Founder: Sri B.B PANDARATHIL Ex.MLA

                              

 

                               Venmony Grama Seva Samithi is a trust registered in 1962. It consists of a group of Malayalee Brahmins belonging to 'Venmony Gramam' which mainly spreads in Kollam, Pathanamthitta and Alapuzha Districts. The founder President was Sri. B.B Pandarathil Ex. MLA. He took the initiative to start a new school with the help of Sri. K.B. Pandarathil, and Ex. Minister Sri K. Damodaran Potti. The land for the school was given by the branches of Mudappilappilli Madom, a family in Venmony Gramam. The foundation stone was laid by Brahma Sri. Devaru Sreedhararu on 16-09-1962. The School name was suggested by Late Sri. Vasudeva Bhattathiri in the name of 'AMBIKA', the GODDESS of Nediyavila Temple. Sri. B.B. Pandarathil Ex. MLA became the founder Manger of the school. Sri. J. Kesavaru Bhattathiri was the first Headmaster of the School till 1992.
